SXSW held annually at Austin, Texas is an amazing, one of a kind event. The event started in 1987 as a Music Conference and Festival and over time with the advent of the new age media has morphed into a music + tech hotbed. The event blends the best of minds in creative and technology realms and the mixture is explosive – to say the least. SXSW 2015 has been no different. With a variety of bands that continue to rev up the atmosphere at SXSW admist thought provoking sessions and seminars. SXSW offers a unique experience not to be missed. This year a lot of focus has been on artificial intelligence, drones. There’s a drone with facial recognition technology, flying cares from AeroMobile were a few of the interesting tech displays at SXSW this year. Not to be missed were the interesting sessions from Mark Cuban on the current state of technology and innovation and Edward Snowden’s session. Meerkat featured an interesting streaming video service to stream video to their twitter feeds. And true to SXSW style there are quirky experiments such as the one Tinder did.
